Introduction

This was an international Leadership Development programme for Senior and Middle Managers that involved a two part, 6-day residential training programme accompanied by one to one coaching sessions during and after the programme.

How we helped

The programme was highly interactive with exercises set and coaching sessions scheduled alongside the training days.

The programme included training modules on:

  • Increasing self-awareness (using Myers Briggs Indicator and LAB Profiling)
  • Performance appraisals and developmental coaching
  • Leadership styles (using the ‘Situational Leadership’ Model)
  • Delegation
  • Handling conflict/difficult conversations
  • Giving & receiving feedback
  • Building a high performance team.

The Outcome

Management development programmes were subsequently conducted with the Business Development, Sales, and Engineering teams.

We also trained and coached the Business Development Managers in how to use specific communication skills in their Product Training and they subsequently won an industry award for best Retailer Training Programme for Electrical Goods.
