Preparation

We find that training is always more effective when participants are fully engaged from the outset.

With this in mind we always set a little bit of pre-work to help to put them in the right frame of mind.

This may take the form of some pre-reading, a quick exercise, answering short questionnaire or even just saying what they would like to get out of the training.

The important thing is that participants take responsibility for their learning as the value they will get from the training will be significantly higher.

Practical exercises

All of our training is very interactive.

Whilst we do of course see our input as key, the real value from the training comes from embedding the learnings as quickly as possible.

Practical exercises play a large part in our training sessions combined with energetic discussion about the insights gained from them and the relevance to day to day activities.

So whilst the exercises are fun to do there is always a key actionable learning points drawn from them.

Reinforce the learnings

Training days are great way of focusing and motivating participants but can quickly become history once back in the business dealing with day to day challenges.

This is why we see Learning Reinforcement as a key part of the process.

Follow up Review or Refresher sessions are scheduled to ensure that there is an opportunity to share experiences, ask questions and revisit key learning points.

Our focus is always on the ROI generated from the programmes that we run and delivering clear, measurable outputs.

Optional one to one coaching

Everyone learns in different ways and at a different pace and some people will want to use the outputs from the Training more extensively than others.

Follow up coaching sessions are a way to make the general learnings very relevant to the individual participants’ roles and responsibilities.

They also provide the opportunity to develop the skills further and to master those that will be most valuable.

All coaching programmes are tailored to individual needs and can range from a few focused sessions to a longer term and more structured Executive Coaching Programme.
